My heart breaks for her family. She saved my husband’s life. I am in shock to read this. He had stage 4 lymphoma and if it had not been for her he would have died. She was the best doctor I have ever known. She will be so missed by so many people.

I just heard about the passing of Dr. Banerjee today. I am saddened by the news. Dr.Banerjee had so much warmth and compassion. She truly cared for all the people in her life and we all really felt her beautiful soul. I hear her voice in my head,I see her kind caring face. I am so sorry to her family and friends for their tremendous loss. I recall us chatting and she asked me what I do for fun, and I said help my kid with homework, I recall her joyous laugh and she asked me , If I could show her how to have fun helping her son with homework. I just want her family and friends to know how much good she brought to the world .
