Pediatrics Austin, TX

The pediatricians and family physicians of The Austin Diagnostic Clinic want to work with all of our patients and their families to ensure a lifetime of good health. We believe that vaccines are an essential component of good preventive medicine. Because we must protect the health of all of our patients, including those who are too young or too ill to be fully immunized, we cannot accept families who choose not to immunize their children. If you have questions or concerns about your child’s immunization status, we encourage you to discuss this with your child’s pediatrician.

Physical form reminder

Statement regarding the MMR vaccine:

ADC pediatricians have always followed the vaccine schedule recommended by the AAP and the CDC. The MMR vaccine is given at 1 year old with a booster dose at 4 years old. There are currently no recommendations to deviate from this schedule or give early doses of the MMR outside of specific travel circumstances (mainly international travel). Any vaccines for travel need to be given 4-6 weeks prior to travel.

If you have further questions about this, you may schedule an appointment to discuss it with your child’s physician. If you have questions about your own vaccination status, please contact your physician’s office.

For questions regarding international travel vaccines please contact the ADC Travel Clinic.

We put the needs of your child first.

Selecting a pediatrician for your child is one of the most important things a parent will do, and this decision is not always an easy one. Our goal is to provide the quality, compassion and individualized care to the families and our community in the Austin area. With offices in north Austin, Circle C and Steiner Ranch, we are sure to have a location close to home.

The Office Experience

As many parents and guardians know a trip to the pediatrician can be a frightening experience for your child. They may be scared to see the doctor and not know what to expect; have had a poor experience in the past or it may be their first trip to the doctor. Our pediatricians are equipped to deal with these sensitive issues with children of any age. We address concerns and answer any questions that you as a parent or guardian may have. We are happy to provide a comfortable, bright and cheery office for your children and to ease their anxiety about the visit from the moment they walk in the door.
