Healthy Thanksgiving: Low Fat Cheesecake

The holidays are all about desserts, but that doesn’t mean your weight has to be a casualty of the sugar onslaught.

Courtney Flatt, a health educator with The Austin Diagnostic Clinic’s Weight Loss and Health Risk Management program demonstrates how to put together a low fat cheesecake that’s just a fraction of the fat and calories of a traditional cheesecake.

This recipe uses fat free and sugar free ingredients wherever possible, including the graham crackers.

Here is the list of ingredients you’ll need to make this recipe:

  • 1 box low-fat graham crackers
  • 8 oz fat free cream cheese
  • 1 cup fat free milk
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 small box instant sugar free vanilla pudding
  • 8 oz. fat free Cool Whip
  • 1 container light fruit pie filling
