ADC wins Silver eHealthcare Leadership Award

eHealthcare 2013 WinnerThe Austin Diagnostic Clinic’s website, adclinic.com, was honored this week with an eHealthcare Leadership Award for Best Health/Healthcare Content at the HealthCare Internet Conference in New Orleans.

Winners were selected from among more than 1,100 entries. Websites and digital communications were entered from more than 260 healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, pharmaceutical firms and online health companies.

There were 14 different award categories: Best Mobile Communications, Best Patient Access and Convenience, Best Site Design, Best Health/Healthcare Content, Best Interactive, Best Care/Disease Management, Best Employee Recruitment, Best Doctor Directory, Best Social Networking, Best Rich Media, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Overall Internet Site, Best Intranet, and eHealth Organizational Commitment.

ADC won a silver award for Best Health/Healthcare Content.

“As in previous years, competition was especially strong among large hospitals, healthcare systems, physician-focused sites, and managed care organizations,” said Mark Gothberg, eHealthcare Leadership Awards chairman.

Gothberg  says Best Health/Healthcare Content, Best Site Design, Best Social Networking, and Best Overall Internet Site categories drew the most entries.  There were also a large number of entries in the Best Rich Media, Best Mobile Communications, Best Doctor Directory, and Best Marketing Campaign categories.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program was developed and first presented 14 years ago by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a leading industry resource published by Health Care Communications, Rye, NY.
