Fall Festivals, Walks and Salvation Army Angel Tree
This Fall, ADC pediatricians visited some
elementary schools to participate in their fall festivals!
Thank you to Baldwin, Boone and Patton elementary schools for
allowing us to be a part of the festivities. Dr. Chiapetta
and Dr. Woods talked to parents and kids about forming everyday,
healthy lifestyle choices with
5-2-1-0 Kids Get Healthy! program. Parents and kids
were shocked to learn how much sugar is actually in some of
their favorite sodas, fruits, and sports drinks.
The Austin Diagnostic Clinic is
proud to serve the Central Texas community by supporting a
number of important events.

Each December since 1999, ADC
has proudly supported a favorite community event—the
Salvation Army Angel Tree. This seasonal outreach program
provides new toys and clothing to 2000 disadvantaged families in
the area. Over the last 12 years the Clinic has 'adopted' over
1200 angels. "Our staff and physicians adopt approximately
75-125 angels each year," says Dr. Moore. "But when it comes to
community involvement, our employees are the real angels."
ADC
staff and physicians adopt 90 Salvation Army Angels this holiday,
December 6, 2011
