Supports the Central Texas Community
|
June 25, 2010 - ADC contributes to
the Family Eldercare Summer Fan Drive at Fan Fare Friday.
As the summer heat continues, a fan will become a necessity for
many Central Texans please go to

make your contribution.
The Austin Diagnostic Clinic is
proud to serve the Central Texas community by supporting a
number of important events, including The
Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure and the
American Diabetes
Association Walk for Diabetes, both taking place in
November. ADC is a major financial sponsor of both events, and
ADC physicians and staff are organizing teams to raise money and
participate in the events.
Every
December, ADC supports another favorite community event—the
Salvation Army Angel Tree. This seasonal outreach program
provides toys, clothing and food to disadvantaged families in
the area. ADC has participated in the program for the last nine
years. “Our staff and physicians adopt approximately 75 angels
each year,” says Dr. Joseph. “But
when it comes to community involvement, our employees are the
real angels.”

Health Fairs
Our physicians, providers and
staff participate in community health fairs offering free
screenings such as lung function testing, foot screenings,
prostate specific antigen (PSA) screenings, blood pressures,
body fat/body mass index analysis and more.
