“This new building will give us
the opportunity to centralize our primary care services,”
explains David Joseph, M.D., Chair of The Austin Diagnostic
Clinic board. “It will house 13 pediatricians and 10 family
practice physicians.”
The 32,000 square foot facility is
set to open in July, 2008. White Construction will be
responsible for the exterior framing of the building and
Galbraith Construction will be responsible for the interior
build-out. Both companies are based in Austin.
In addition to physician offices,
ADC Primary Care will have laboratory and x-ray services.
ADC’s EasyCare, a Monday through Friday walk-in
clinic that provides care without an appointment, will also be
located in the new facility. ADC will also move Urgent Care, an
after-hours and weekend clinic, to the new location. Both
services are open to both existing patients and non-ADC
patients.
“EasyCare and
Urgent Care give people access to the medical care they
need, when they need it,” says Dr. Joseph. “By providing both of
these services at the new location, we hope to make care even
more convenient.”
After The Austin Diagnostic
Clinic Primary Care opens, ADC will close its offices on Far
West Blvd. The new facility also opens up more space in ADC’s
Main Clinic, as existing
family practice and
pediatric offices at the Main Clinic will relocate to the
new building.
“We are looking forward to
expanding other services at our
Main Clinic,” adds Robert W. Spurck, Jr., CEO of The Austin
Diagnostic Clinic. “By centralizing family practice and
pediatrics into our new building, we will increase convenience
for our patients while gaining vital space for other medical
specialties at our Main Clinic.”
ADC Round Rock will continue to offer family practice and
EasyCare. ADC South on James Casey will still house
pediatric services in addition to other specialties. |
