Physicians of The Austin Diagnostic
Clinic (ADC) elected officers and new board members at the
ADC Annual Share Holders Meeting in late February.
David Joseph, M.D., an ADC family practitioner, was
re-elected as Chairman of the Board.
Thomas Chandler, M.D., an ADC ophthalmologist, was
re-elected Board Vice Chairman and
James Hicks, M.D., an ADC otolaryngologist, was
re-elected Board Secretary/Treasurer.
Carla Ortique, M.D., an ADC obstetrician and
gynecologist, and
Dick Worrel, M.D., an ADC pediatrician, were elected as
new board members.
Michael Ross, M.D., an ADC surgeon, was elected to an
additional term as a board member.
“ADC has an exciting year ahead, and
our outstanding board members are looking forward to leading
the way,” says Board Chairman Dr. Joseph. “As physicians and
leaders, these board members exhibit superior
professionalism and dedication to the Clinic.”
In addition to the board elections,
the 2005 “Distinguished Service Award” was presented at the
ADC Annual Share Holders Meeting. ADC Nuclear Radiologist
Joseph A. Volpe, M.D., received the recognition from his
physician peers for excellence in the practice of medicine
and his commitment to his patients.
