Imaging Services at The Austin Diagnostic Clinic

     

Ceretec Scan
(Ceretec labeled WBC Scan):

Preparation:  There is no prep for this exam. 

Appointment Length:  This involves several appointments.

The first appointment involves a blood draw.

The second appointment time, usually 2 to 3 hours later, involves re-injecting the ceretec labeled white blood cells. 
 

bullet

A scan is then acquired 30 minutes to 2 hours later.  Scan time is 1 hour.
