Female Incontinence

It's no laughing matter.  It's called urinary incontinence and millions of women suffer from the sudden or frequent urge to go to the bathroom. You feel embarrassed to talk about such a personal thing. But, when you learn it's a medical problem, you know it's not your fault.

Urinary incontinence can be caused by many factors such as:
Childbirth
Limited mobility
Medication side effect
Urinary tract infection
Chronic incontinence is commonly caused by these factors:
Birth defects
Bladder muscle weakness
Brain or spinal cord injury
Nerve disorders
Pelvic floor muscle weakness

The good news is that urinary incontinence can be treated at any age - from simple exercises, to medication, to surgery. The Austin Diagnostic Clinic urologists, Dr. Satish Karnik and Dr. Koushik Shaw will find the right solution for you.

So, don't be embarrassed. Be empowered. Take control of your health and your life.
