Hematology is the medical specialty pertaining to the anatomy, physiology, pathology, symptomology, and therapeutics related to blood, blood-forming issues and blood clotting.

Oncology is the study or science dealing with the physical, chemical, and biologic properties of cancer, its cause and treatment.
