Recipe for health: Grilled Peaches

Peach halves on the grill

Grilled peaches make a great dessert!

Kim Fry and Kimberly Smith from Weight and Health Risk Management whipped up some local peaches for dessert. Watch how they did it.

You can serve these plain or garnished with a little plain yogurt, fat free whipped cream or chopped nuts.

Grilled Peaches

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches (not too ripe — or they will fall off the grill!)

Instructions

  1. Prepare grill
  2. While the grill heats up, halve the peaches and remove pits.
In a large bowl, drizzle the peach halves with enough vinegar to coat.

  4. Remove the peaches from the grill and let cool. Serve warm.
