Every month, The Austin Diagnostic Clinic recognizes a staff member who is making a difference. In February, ADC recognized Randy Honish, LVN, CSA, and Clinical Manager for ADC’s General Surgery Department.
Honish graduated with a degree in nursing from Victoria College in 1992, and began nursing at a hospital in Victoria, Texas where he gained in the endoscopy department as well as surgical cases.
“I then moved to attend college in Bryan / College Station, but after meeting my soon to be fiancĂ© who was attending UT, I decided to move to Austin a year later,” he said.
Honish started working at ADC in 1995 and later furthered his education. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Arts and Science from Texas State University in 2008.
“My department has always encouraged and supported me in whatever goals I want to accomplish,” Honish said. “The surgery department has the most amazing people both professionally and personally. ADC is top notch — I am surrounded by the best group of professionals in the world. I am honored to be a part of that.”
